If you want to get rid of chemicals in your home this book can give alternatives. The price was too good to be true, but it would have been a bargain at a much higher price.

This book helps to accomplish the task of cleaning in a quick, easy way. The products are to buy are much cheaper than using commercial products. It is very easy to read and use. Green living should be quick and easy. I highly recommend it for those who are conscious of their environment and want ways to have a cleaner interior in their homes. I have used some of the solutions in the book and found they worked well.

Do not be fooled by the "for Dummies" marketing or nomenclature, this is a very reasoned and well thought out book. Though the main focus is on green cleaning, there are many ideas in this book which can help in green living and in minimizing our resource consumption.Going through this book helped me rethink several aspects of cleanliness that we often overlook - dust mites etc in your pillows/bedding and window curtains/drapes; the usefulness of sunlight as a cleaning agent; the deception behind the new car smell and so on. It gets these ideas across in a thoughtful manner, in going beyond the green washing that companies often use nowadays and understand the real impact of a consumer choice - Is a local non-organic apple better than an organic apple from far away Chile?More practically it offers several solutions for maintaining a healthy living condition. The chapter on home "recipes" for day to day cleaning agents is useful.

There are a lot of recipes for every meal, including pizza and pasta! These are also all perfect for people who like to meal prep. A lot of the recipes make quite a bit of servings so it was perfect for me! This is an awesome book especially for the value!!MY NEW MEAL PREP PAL! I LOVE IT!

A large list of recipes adapted for instant pot. All recipes for nutritional composition fully comply with the ketogenic diet. Most of all I liked the dishes from chicken, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Great to read!

I also really appreciate how they tailored it to brand new users of a pressure cooker, like myself. I read reviews that the hero and heroine were each other’s one and only.It was true and the thing that I liked most about the story. There was no manhoe behavior that I had to read about and their sexual experience was for once equal. The majority of the time in romance books the hero has too much experience and has heroine none to very little. That is sexist and I wish that the playing field was even more often. From the book summary, it appeared that the story would have a jealous and possessive hot alpha hero who initially put up a little resistance to being with the heroine. I believed that he would fight his attraction to the heroine for a short period of time but then accept it and become the pursuer. Sadly that was not the case.The heroine chased and chased the hero. It was pathetic and tedious. initially, the hero resisted responding at all. Then he became an indecisive tease. He would let the heroine initiate some form of physical contact and then stop her before the main event. When he finally stops fighting her advances, 75% of the story was over. It was too little too late as I just didn’t care anymore. She looked desperate and needed and he appeared to be an indecisive wuss. The lack of feeling behind the claimed possessiveness was disappointing as well. All telling and no showing.Another thing that really irritated me was how the heroine got changed. I believed that from reading the book summary and reviews that the hero would lose control due to his intense need of the heroine and bite her during a passionate encounter. Sadly I was wrong again. The hero didn’t change the hero by losing control of his bloodlust during sexy times. Nope. He accidentally cut his lip and kissed her transferring his disease. It was such a letdown, how I felt about the majority of the story.

I am disappointed--the first two books (well, book and a half) in this series are fun, romantic, imaginative, and so well-written. (See my review of Tarnished Knight.) I was very excited about the new addition, Heart of Iron. Unfortunately the author succumbs to an all too common temptation in a series: the excessive introduction and description of new characters for future books. The "Mercury" siblings and Ingrid, Jasper the blue blood soldier, more Leo Barrons, the Norwegian verwulfen Astrid and Eric. I don't care about the details of Astrid's barbarian princess outfit or the narrow span of her waist when Lena is in peril. Plus, the plot is just not as tight and focused because future conflicts are clearly being set up, and we never really learn much more about Will and Lena, the main couple. Yes, we spend time with them, time in which they are usually at odds, yawn!--but I don't know any more about them than I did on page 1, especially Will. For example, Will's time in captivity is summed up in a one page discussion. We never get to explore all the vulnerable and endearing aspects of his personality the author hinted at in the previous stories, like his fear/mistrust of women, his mistaken attraction to Blade, his longing for physical contact, his room full of battered children's books, rocks, feathers, etc. I wanted to know so much more about this hulking, strangely vulnerable hero. And what we learn about Lena I don't really like. She admits to playing games with Will, which is understandable but still annoying. She spies for the humanist movement because she is, essentially, bored. Yes, there is a previously unhinted at event in her past which feels like a trumped up, last-minute motive, but even Lena herself admits she was looking for a cause, something to do. Also, she spends way too much of the story keeping various secrets that endanger her, which doesn't make sense since she has POWERFUL and TRUSTED allies to whom she could turn for help (Will, Blade, Rip, Leo). And, knowing a blood-thirsty and cruel aristocrat is stalking her, she persists in wandering around social events alone, going down the dark hall, stepping on to the deserted terrace etc, veering dangerously close to TSTL territory. And the resolution to the obstacle in her relationship with Will was trite and simplistic.Oh, and as another reviewer pointed out, the romance doesn't really happen until the end.So, am I sorry I bought the book? No. Maybe my hopes were too high. Maybe I liked Will too much, making it impossible to fulfill my expectations.Do I recommend the series? Yes, it's still a cut above most of what's out there.Will I read this author again? Yes. But I do hope the she recaptures a bit more of her early magic.

I’m a professional airbrush artist. I’ve always approached my art commercially and having a marketing management background I’m not a newbie to business. However, I’ve always found that marketing and selling art provides unique challenges. My airbrush business really picked up since last year, but now I’m looking to reach a new level. I’ve read Maria’s blog in the past. This book was released at exactly the perfect time for me. It expands on a lot of topics she has written about in her blog, but it’s all in one book and organized in a logical order and there’s a lot more info and background. I love the worksheets at the end of chapters. Some of her advice I was already practicing before I read the book, but I also picked up a lot of great ideas from her book. A big one for me were her chapters on pricing and of course art licensing. What I really like about her book though, is that it’s full of great advice, without the condescending tone of some other art business books I’ve read. I highly recommend this book.

I certainly wasn't born with a business mind, much artistic talent or any inclination to surf. So this most Californian of how-to books that focusses on how the author went about selling her surf-loving husband's art should have rubbed me – a cynical Old World Brit who merely dabbles in water colours when he's had too much to drink – up the wrong way. And yet, despite the odd mix of woo-woo spiritualism and crass Yankee commercialism (you have to emanate true love for other people before you can close the deal) I found myself, dare I say it, agreeing with her. After reading this personal guide to negotiating the choppy waters of making a living through creating art I was inspired. OK, I don't have the talent (yet) to make a living from my art, but I do have the tenacity. Put a cork in the wine bottle, and get to work. Business and art don't have to be mutually exclusive. In fact, as you realise the further you get though the book, good art and good business go hand in hand. The bottom line? If you have any desire to make a living from your art, I recommend you read this practical, inspirational book.

Maria Brophy is unique in her field of art consulting in that she is actively managing the career of her artist husband in real time and, in that capacity, works firsthand with buyers. She has the conversations, handles the negotiations, deals with the obstacles, just like the artists she consults with. Her experience spans the entire range of buyers from one-on-one collectors to licensees to corporate events. This book inspired me with its positivity, specificity, and practicality. My bookshelf is full of art business books, and I've read them all. THIS is the book I will recommend to friends and fellow artists. Thank you, Maria, for taking the time to collect your thoughts and experiences and gather them into this enormously helpful guide.

This book is a gold mine for anyone in a creative field, but definitely incredibly helpful for illustration artists like me. I've been freelancing since 2010 doing illustration and graphic design, but I was barely making it. I had no business training whatsoever, but this book was a perfect resource to teach me the ins and outs of the art business and it helped me immensely. Just following Maria's advice to get focused on what I really want to do was super helpful. I realized I didn't enjoy doing graphic design or taking on commissions that didn't mesh with my core values as an artist just to earn a paycheck. Now I only focus on making fantasy illustration and portraits. I'm doing what I love, so the work I'm producing is so much better and people are taking notice. I've implemented so many of the strategies Maria laid out, and I'm finally seeing the success I've yearned for all these years. Suddenly doors are opening and there's more opportunities than I could have ever imagined. I can't thank Maria enough for writing such a heartfelt, insightful book to really help artists achieve their goals and make money doing what they love. A+++++ and a must have for all artists out there!

I bought this book for my wife and she just finished reading it. She said it was one of the most helpful “business books” she’s read in a while. Most of what we read/hear about marketing and growing a business deals with the big picture mindset stuff, which, while definitely important in its own right, doesn't really allow us to take that next step with concrete ideas. We’re at a point where we make steady income that allows us to "get by," but have been stuck on really growing because we’ve lacked more tangible ideas to put into action. Maria offers a lot of this in Art Money Success - along with tons of great informational tidbits - so we definitely highly recommend!

I buy art and business books frequently. While many have very good and practical information, some, like this one, are treasure troves of inside perspective. Few things are as frustrating as reading advice from someone who has not actually accomplished what they are writing about. I've wasted plenty of money listening to "experts" who are really only interested in marketing their marketing materials. It's refreshing to read a book like this detailing specific plans of action and offering practical exercises to help clarify your path.It's a very substantial review of the tried and true methods of both traditional and guerrilla marketing as well as an honest appraisal of what it takes to succeed. I like that the author suggests that every artist must forge their own artistic and marketing path and style. Additionally, she does a great job using her own challenges to illustrate the roadblocks and solutions that she and her husband discovered along the way.I'll be re-reading this guide a few more times. I'm sure there are gems I'm missing.

I found this little book to be very helpful during my short trip to Vienna. I had been there previously, but this time I was traveling alone and wanted a small book to carry with me in case I needed recommendations, information, etc. The book was the perfect size and just right for a short trip to Vienna. If you are planning a longer stay, you might need a more extensive book; but if you are going to be in Vienna for just a few days, this is a nice little guide.

The book is amazing and we love the content however after owning it for a month the Binding is coming apart and the pages have completely separated from the hardcover, falling out. Hugely disappointed in that.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old grandson as he's a Star Wars Legos fanatic. The reading level is a bit high for him yet, but he will get years of use out of this great book. It's very comprehensive and well made.
